The History of NSW Railways

The History of NSW Railways

The History of NSW Railways shows the development of NSW’s railway system outside Sydney. The map shows all railway lines and stations in NSW that have ever provided passenger services. Information on the dates of opening and closing of each railway line and station are recorded on this website – the amount of detail is far too great to depict on a single poster.

The map features:

  • all passenger lines and stations that have existed at any point in NSW’s railway history.
  • exploded views of the Sydney, Newcastle and Lower Hunter, and Far North East areas.
  • all closed lines which are now operating as dedicated tourist lines.
  • 941mm x 694mm print on archival quality paper.

Pricing
Price per map is AUD $32.00 plus a flat rate of $14.00 postage in Australia for up to 10 maps.

For orders of more than 10 maps postage will be refunded. Postage for overseas customers (except New Zealand which is charged the Australian rate) is $50.00 (again, postage for ten or more items is free).
